Atlanta born Andrew Tingle started out shooting indie bands such as The Jesus Lizard, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth during the 90's music scene with a Canon AE1 film camera handed down by his father.  After receiving a degree in International Studies from Emory University, he moved to New York City to pursue his true passion and traveled around the world with renowned photographers such as Larry Fink, Jeff Riedel and Kenneth Willardt.

Soon he found his own voice in conceptual photography, for which he was sought after by magazines such as Dazed & Confused, Ponytail, Intersection, Men's Health and WIRED magazine, where he became a regular contributor.

His unique style to the medium, developed through his autodidact approach, translates into a myriad of themes ranging from intimate portraits of horseshoe crabs to the heroic portrayal of Esquire's Car of the Year.  His curious eye never ceases to search for the quintessence of a project’s nature.

Taking images on the move, Andrew has expanded into the world of videography with hands on experience from storyboarding to filming and editing.  Along with creating many video projects for WIRED, he was commissioned by the Entrepreneur of the Year winning Adafruit Industries to produce their promotional video.

Andrew’s homebase is Brooklyn, NY which inspires him in his work as much as all the exotic places he travels to.
His work has been shown in several group exhibitions.
